Namal Business Conference

Held under the theme “Smart Business Transformation: Synergies of Technology, Innovation, and Sustainability,” Namal Business Conference 2026 (NBC 2026) successfully brought together a diverse community of scholars, industry practitioners, and emerging researchers. The conference served as a dynamic platform for rigorous intellectual exchange, focusing on contemporary challenges and opportunities in sustainable business development, digital transformation, and innovation-driven growth.

The academic program was structured around five specialized research tracks, encompassing Financial Innovation and Sustainability, Data-Driven Marketing, Intelligent Agribusiness, Technological Innovation, and Mathematical Modeling & Data Analytics. Across these domains, participants presented and discussed forward-looking research addressing critical areas such as green finance, data-enabled decision-making in marketing, food security, and technology integration in business ecosystems.

The conference was further enriched by the presence of five distinguished keynote speakers, who delivered insightful keynote addresses aligned with key thematic domains, particularly Financial Innovation, Intelligent Agribusiness, Mathematical Modeling, and the Future of Business Education. These keynote sessions provided strategic perspectives and significantly enhanced the intellectual depth of the conference.

In addition, the technical sessions were supported by the contributions of 15 session chairs and co-session chairs from various universities, who rigorously evaluated research presentations and facilitated scholarly discussions throughout the conference. NBC 2026 maintained a high standard of academic rigor through a competitive and transparent selection process. A total of 194 research papers were submitted, of which 91 were accepted following a stringent double-blind peer-review process conducted via Microsoft CMT, resulting in an acceptance rate of 47 percent. This selectivity ensured that the conference proceedings reflected quality, relevance, and originality.

The conference attracted a diverse and vibrant participant base, including faculty members, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and representatives from industry. This mix enabled meaningful dialogue across experience levels and sectors, fostering a collaborative environment that bridged theoretical research with practical insights.

A significant highlight of NBC 2026 was its emphasis on capacity building and research excellence. A pre-conference workshop, led by Namal’s own business faculty member who is ranked among the world’s top 2 percent, provided participants with practical guidance on writing high-impact research papers. The session was highly appreciated and contributed to strengthening the research capabilities of participants.

In addition to academic deliberations, the conference facilitated valuable networking opportunities, leading to the initiation of new research collaborations and cross-institutional partnerships. The discussions and interactions during the conference generated actionable insights in areas aligned with national priorities, including sustainable economic development, technological advancement, and innovation in agribusiness and financial systems.
